Psychotherapist, RP

Kaylie Quinlan

Kaylie is a Registered Psychotherapist who works with CLM Counselling and Psychotherapy to provide counselling to youth, teens, and adults looking to work on their mental health. Graduating from the University of Ottawa with a M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology, Kaylie has worked in university and clinical settings to help individuals identify and work towards their mental health goals.

Kaylie believes that building a connection where her clients feel seen, heard, and supported is one of the most important aspects of starting therapy. To do this, she tailors her approach to suit the needs of each client, pulling from multiple therapeutic approaches to find the best fit for each person. Her main approaches are trauma-informed and pull from ACT, CBT, mindfulness, attachment, and self compassion therapies. She has experience working with a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, and life transitions.

Kaylie feels it’s important to acknowledge the skills that have allowed each of us to make it this far on our mental health journeys. It takes strength and courage to make it to a point where you feel you can reach out for help, and she wants to acknowledge the work that you have already done to get to this point. She looks forward to learning more about what brought you this far and supporting you as you work towards your mental health goals.
