Cydney Worsfold

Cydney is a Registered Psychotherapist – (Qualifying) who utilizes an integrated, person-centred approach with her clients, recognizing that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all and must be tailored to the specific needs of every one of her clients. Cydney is actively pursuing her accreditation in DBT from APT Canada with a special focus on trauma and how it can create a profound impact on an individual’s mind, body and relationships. Cydney firmly believes that with the proper support, it is possible to grow and heal from trauma, no matter how long ago the trauma may have occurred.

Cydney has a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Brock University with a specific focus on neuroplasticity and neuroscience, allowing her to have a greater understanding of how our mental health and trauma impacts the biology and functioning of our brain.
