Christa McParlan, MSW,RSW – Owner

Christa has Master’s degree in Social Work and is a registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She has varied clinical experience in the areas of mental health, depression and anxiety, trauma, addictions, client advocacy, capacity building, working with adolescents, child development and attachment.  Christa has experience working with individuals, families and systems and has worked in several clinical and community settings.  She is well versed in community resources and services.

She offers clinical social work and psychotherapy from an integrative clinical perspective informed by a number of  evidence based, theoretical approaches including psychodynamic, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral and family therapy.  She uses a strengths based and empathetic approach and is able to provide short or long term therapy based on individual need.
