Sophie is a student therapist at City University of Seattle and is in the process of qualifying with the CRPO. She practices under the supervision of Christa McParlan and Lori Eaton and uses a strength-based approach that integrates principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or ACT and a person-centred approach. Helping clients live in alignment with their values.
Her approach is collaborative, empathetic, and tailored to the client’s needs. She aims to create a judgment-free, open-minded environment where clients can express themselves freely.
Sophie has experience working with children and adolescents who are both neurodiverse and neurotypical. She has additional training in supporting individuals with ADHD through Evergreen’s certification and is committed to deepening her skills in therapeutic modalities to best support her clients.
Sophie supports clients with a range of presenting concerns such as anxiety, depression and self-esteem and challenges related to ADHD. She is committed to creating an affirming safe space for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and strives to meet clients wherever they are in their process of self-discovery.
Sophie is currently accepting clients’ children 12 +, adolescents, and adults.
