Courtney is a Registered Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting adults in mental health and addiction recovery. She has also worked with individuals experiencing significant life stressors including relationship problems, caregiver burnout, and major life events or transitions. She is versed in client advocacy and community resources.
Courtney views therapy as a journey toward a more fulfilling life. She provides a safe, collaborative space for self exploration as well as tools and strategies to support desired growth and change. Furthermore, she practices humility, recognizing we all have unique strengths and expertise.
Courtney draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and self-compassion training while integrating strengths-based, narrative, somatic, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed approaches. She holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology as well as a Master of Social Work and is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers.
