What are your fees?
Each session starts at $140 and is 50 minutes in length. Payment is due at the beginning of each session. We currently accept cash, cheque and etransfer.
Are your services covered by benefits??
Please check with your extended benefits, as many benefit plans have coverage for clinical social work services. We will provide you with a receipt after each session that you will be able to submit to your benefit provider for reimbursement.
Do I need a physician referral?
A physician referral is not necessary for social work services, self referrals are sufficient. In some cases, an extended benefit plan WILL require a physician’s referral in order to reimburse social work sessions. Please check with your provider in advance.
I have never met with a therapist before, what can I expect at my first session?
The first session will be spent getting to know you, gathering some background information and learning about the reason(s) you are seeking therapeutic support. Together we will review the confidentiality agreement and develop goals for our work together. Please feel free to ask any questions you have at any time.
